2009 Conference Letter
Dear TCRB Members:
We are pleased to announce the 18th Annual Meeting
of the Triangle Consortium for Reproductive Biology, to be held on
January 31, 2009. The title of the Meeting is Pregnancy and Fetal Development. This year's meeting will be hosted in the National
Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Research Triangle
Park.
"Conference Schedule" to the left for the schedule of activities and
oral presentations
In addition to the oral presentations, there will
also
be poster sessions. We encourage all students, postdoctoral fellows,
technicians, etc. to present their work at this meeting. It should be a
great occasion to meet new colleagues and exchange ideas.
Please note the following:
- The deadline for pre-registration for the
Meeting is January 10, 2009; the registration fee will be $10 for
students/technicians/postdoctoral fellows and $25 for faculty.
- Registration and abstract submission should be
made electronically. However, the check for registration will have to
be sent by mail (see Registration notice) and should be received within
7 days of the email transmission.
- EVERYONE should try to present a poster because
this is an important aspect of the meeting. Poster titles and
authors will be listed on the TCRB website.
- To encourage everyone to meet the vendors and
learn-about their products, each attendee will be given a card that can
be stamped by each of the vendors. Cards that have stamps from all
vendors will be entered into a pool. Cards will be randomly selected
and prizes will be awarded.
An updated Meeting Schedule, Location,
Registration Form, Abstract and
Poster Guidelines, an Abstract Example and much more can be found on
this web site.
THE PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS December 20, 2009.
Please contact Dr. Char Farin at 919-515-4022, or
by email at Char_Farin@ncsu.edu,
if you have any questions about registration, fees, or other matters
